The Advanced Sport Boat Clinic is for qualified sailors to stretch and expand their boat handling skills to meet and manage unexpected challenges and to lay the foundation for competitive and high-performance sailing. 

A major element of this clinic is that we do not use the engine; we challenge students to operate and control the boat safely, elegantly, and confidently in difficult situations under sail. We will practice blindfolded sailing, slalom courses, sailing backwards, anchoring under sail, and docking under sail. 

Successful completion of the clinic will give students a U.S. Sailing Performance Endorsement. 

First Course Date: October 8-9, 9AM - 4PM
Prerequisites: Eligibility to charter Sport Boats < 30’ and 6 additional on-the-water days.
