Our Favorite “Dock and Dine” Locations

Are you craving some variety to spice up your San Francisco Bay sailing excursions? For a change of pace and scenery, try a dock-and-dine expedition!

This handy menu of our favorite Bay Area dock-and-dine locations will help facilitate your planning. We highly recommend calling ahead to check availability and confirm pricing.  Also, check your tide book and local knowledge to plan around tides — some of these locations can be shallow!

Schoonmaker Point Marina

Central Bay Dock and Dine

Ayala Cove Docks and Moorings
(415) 435-1915
$15 fee for day use. Tie up for lunch at the Angel Island Café or use one of the park barbeques (bring your own charcoal). During the summer, if you’re lucky, there is live music too! Angel Island also offers a museum, hiking/biking trails, and public restrooms.

Ayala Cove can get busy during the summer!

Hike the trails on Angel Island for great views of Ayala Cove, the City, and Golden Gate Bridge!

Sam's Anchor Café in Tiburon

Sam’s is an iconic and favorite destination for weekend brunch and lunch. Recently though, the small marina has become very shallow. Inspire Sailing prohibits Silver and Gold fleet boats from going due to shallow depth and high risk of running aground, but you’re safe on a J24 as long as you pay careful attention to tides! Watch out for the minus tides!
