Offering Checkouts, Charters, and Chips!

We have a busy weekend planned at Inspire Sailing! Michael and Phil (above) and the rest of the team are ready to help you! Here is what’s on tap:  

Checkout Sails

We’re continuing with checkout sails and, as expected, spaces are filling up fast! Reserve your spot now by emailing us at inquire@inspiresailing.com or calling us at (510) 831-1800. We’ll ask you to provide a brief description of your certifications and recent sailing activity; you can submit this ahead of time by clicking here to access the form. 

A checkout sail is a 3-hour sail with an instructor and two other club members to refresh your skippering skills. We encourage everyone to do a checkout, but if you haven’t skippered in the last 12 months, we’ll require a checkout before your first charter.  Checkouts cost $150 for a small boat, and $225 for a big boat.

Charters

We have boats available for charter! If you have completed your checkout sail. Please email or call us for a reservation. 

Member Social 

On both Saturday and Sunday, we’ll be hosting a happy hour from 3:30pm to 5:00pm in our outdoor lounge. We’ll be serving beer, wine, soda, and chips … and membership applications! Even if you didn’t sail that day, come have a drink, join the Club, and meet your fellow members!  

Remember, you can join the Club now, and we won't charge you monthly fees until your first paid on-the-water activity; and we’ll waive the initiation fee if you are a former OCSC member.
