Summer is Splendid for Overnight Charters!

Need an escape, but can’t travel too far from home?

Thinking about a charter vacation abroad, or buying a boat of your own, and want to see what it feels like cooking, eating, and sleeping on a boat overnight?

Get refreshed, recharged, and ready with an overnight charter on San Francisco Bay!

We highly recommend Silver Fleet boats Golden Girl (Catalina 30) and Stray Cat (Catalina 320) and Gold Fleet boats Sirena (Beneteau 37) and D’Uphoria (Dufour 36) as our most comfortable cruisers. Complete with cabins, galley, and head, these vessels can easily accommodate you and a few friends for an overnight or full weekend!

Wondering where to anchor? Paradise Cove, Clipper Cove, and Aquatic Park are our top three picks. (Note: China Cove is prohibited due to anchor fouling hazards.) Mooring at Ayala Cove is another good option.

You’ll want to know the ins and outs of these anchorages before you arrive. To learn more, see the article Anchorages on San Francisco Bay by Boatingsf.com.

As always, multi-day charters are discounted 10% for 2 consecutive days and 15% for three or more!

Views of the Bay are stunning in the late afternoon / early evening. If you’re not “night certified”, please make sure you dock, anchor, or moor before that sun sets!

With practice, anchoring can become pretty ‘routine’ and is a great way to take a break during a day of sailing… and a great way to take full advantage of our 23-hour daily charter period or multi-day charter discounts!

If you’re a J24 skipper, Clipper Cove at Treasure Island is a great place to anchor for lunch! We don’t necessarily recommend overnighting on a J24, unless you really like roughing it!
