Fleet Week Coming Oct 3-11 — Start Planning Now!

Since 1981, San Francisco Fleet Week (SFFW) annually honors the contributions of the men and women of the US Armed Forces while advancing cooperation and knowledge among civilian- and military-based Humanitarian Assistance personnel.

Taking place every October, SFFW’s air show, the parade of ships, and many community events have become a significant and integral part of the city’s local culture and economy.

A parade of grand military ships and thrilling aerobatics over the Bay make a memorable day of sailing! Fleet Week provides recreational boaters the opportunity to freely enjoy a spectacle of ships, airplanes, and mid-week flight practice runs (from a safe distance, of course).

Except for Golden Girl on Friday, October 7, our cruising boats are already booked over the main events weekend, but there are a some J/24s available. You’ll find a good selection of boats available on event weekdays.

With Fleet Week just a little over three weeks away, act now to book a boat or find crew!

Later this month, we’ll provide you with useful information to help you keep your sailing safe and sane during Fleet Week.
