Enlisting the Fleet

A fleet of sailboats is headed our way!

We’re pleased to announce more details about the charter fleet that will be available to students, members, and guests.

We’ll use J24s as our core training platform for Basic Keelboat and Basic Cruising courses. These tiller-steered sport boats give students a chance to really “feel” the dynamics of sailing. The J24s will also be available for charters, giving skippers a very safe and manageable boat to gain on-the-water experience.

We’re lining up a fleet of bigger boats (e.g., Jenneau 379, Beneteau 37, Catalina 320, etc.) for certified members who would like a bigger, more luxurious vessel for their charters around the Bay. These will be also be used for our Bareboat Cruising course and big-boat clinics like Docking and Anchoring.

For those skippers who enjoy the thrill of a fast, fun, (and maybe wetter?) ride, we’ll supplement our J24 fleet with a few other sport boats including the J80 and J105.

Are you a boat owner? We still have slips for a few more boats! Boat owners who put their boats in the Inspire Sailing fleet will enjoy hassle-free boat ownership.
