Michael Campbell

Club Manager

Sailing from the tender age of 8, Michael has always been drawn to the sea, joining the Navy upon graduating from school and working as a navigator aboard a U.S. Navy destroyer and sailing around the Hawaiian Islands for several years.

Returning to California's Central Valley, he bought a classic Chris Craft cruiser to explore the Stockton/Sacramento Delta waterways for many years.

Michael began teaching sailing on the Bay part time over 20 years ago, unable to resist the lure of the ocean, and finally earning a coveted "core instructor" position at the former OCSC.

With deliveries to Hawaii and along the California coast, and with his prior sea time and experience as an instructor, Michael is a welcome addition the new Inspire Sailing team as a Club Manager.
