We have exciting news for you about the progress of Inspire Sailing's merger with Modern Sailing. This week will bring expanded benefits to membership and to the way you access your sailing opportunities online.
As of Monday evening, Berkeley students and members gain access to Modern Sailing's Mindbody reservation platform, simplifying how you reserve your sportboat, cruising, racing, and social sailing experiences. Booking in RecHub is now disabled to avoid discrepancies between the two systems. You can get started using Mindbody as of Tuesday morning.
Don’t worry, we’ll walk you through this transition, step by step. This How To article will serve as your starting point and guide as you access Mindbody for the first time. Our customer service representatives in our Berkeley and Sausalito offices are also here support you. Beginning March 1, monthly membership dues will be processed through Mindbody and show the biller as “Modern Sailing.” Your Modern Sailing membership will also provide you with access to the widest range of sailing opportunities available through one sailing school in the Bay Area, at the most competitive rates!
With no change in monthly dues, pre-existing Single Site members at Berkeley and Sausalito are granted membership benefits at both sites.
The previous "Dual Site Membership" tiers have been eliminated, which means that monthly dues for those who were Dual Site members will be reduced to $50 for Individual and $65 for Partner memberships.
To make the transition as easy as possible for you, we've taken care of securely migrating your data into your new Mindbody account. You will find that any funds you had on your RecHub account will be accessible to you in Mindbody. If you are scheduled for a course or charter in RecHub, you will see it in your Mindbody schedule.
We’ve worked hard to make sure this migration goes smoothly. That said, we all know hiccups can happen. So, as you login and begin to explore your Mindbody account, please contact us if you have any questions or need any assistance.
