Line Honors Again for Inspire Racing Team!

Sunday was another day of perfect conditions in our Chowder Racing series. We motored out to a nice 10 knot NW breeze past "D" marker and the wind followed us back under spinnaker to our start line off the Berkeley breakwater.

We had a fantastic start, and quickly started pulling away from the competition. Our speed was barely better than Omar, an Olson 25, because winds were light and they had a large genoa to our working jib. We managed to pull away and were able to tack short of our layline and execute an excellent jibeset at the windward mark.

We were forced to take the south entrance because of a low tide and it was a race to beat the smaller boats that were able to take the middle entrance into the harbor.

Another great finish off the Berkeley Yacht Club, finishing 5th on corrected time.
