Expanding the Team!

Things have been steaming right along as we anticipate the opening of Inspire Sailing for charters, courses, and events!

This week we welcomed two new employees to our growing team:  

Mark Showalter, Fleet Service Manager.  Mark has been sailing on the SF Bay since he was a teenager, and has experience chartering all over the world.  With his attention to detail and care for quality, your boat will be in excellent hands!

Phil Strause, General Manager.  No stranger to the Berkeley Marina, Phil was the Club Manager and Corporate Events Manager at OCSC Sailing for several years prior to joining the Berkeley Yacht Club as General Manager in 2018.  Phil and his wife sail Wolpertinger, a Santa Cruz 27, regularly on the Bay.

We're excited to see both a new face and a familiar face, and we hope you'll swing by to say hello once we're up and running! (And ask Phil what the heck a wolpertinger is!)
