Appreciating Boat Owners

On Saturday, June 19, we hosted Boat Owner Appreciation Day at Inspire Sailing. We welcomed charter-fleet boat owners as our first guests at the Club, as a way to show our appreciation for them enlisting their boats in our fleet.

We also welcomed a few boat owners (and potential boat buyers) who are considering joining the fleet, and some prospective members who were lucky enough (and quick enough on email) to be selected as crew during the “first come, first served” offer.

We kicked off the day with around-the-room introductions, as well as a safety briefing. We then matched owner skippers with crew, and headed to the boats for rigging. Boats set sail around 11:00am in typical San Francisco Bay summer conditions for a short sail.

We all returned to the Club by 1:00pm to bed the boats and then enjoyed snacks, drinks, and socializing in the Clubroom.
