Advanced Sportboat Clinic Reviews

Inspire Sailing ran its second Advanced Sportboat Clinic on November 27. Students Paolo and Barbara share their thoughts about this clinic.

“This course boosted my competence and ease skippering the J/24 to a whole new level: no more tension if the outboard should die on me when returning to the marina, more fun gybing fast and often when we raced a slalom course, learning how to shift crew weight back and forth to move the boat in those sudden wind lulls when the sails lose all pressure. Especially thrilling was when we sailed blindfolded, developing a whole new sense of how to tell wind direction, wave, and boat movements.
